WNYLRC supports many project-based websites or information portals to better serve its member libraries and library systems’ patrons.
www.askus247.org Ask Us 24/7 Internet address
Generic URL of the Ask Us 24/7 virtual reference service. Participating libraries most often choose to use their own library’s website URL in order to promote the service. The generic URL is most often used by WNYLRC to promote the service.
www.bfn.org Buffalo Free-Net Internet address The Buffalo Free-Net offers web hosting services for community non-profit organizations and individuals with special interests. The Buffalo Free-Net officialy went online in October of 1993 after several months of testing. It's goal and stated purpose was to provide educational and community oriented information to the Western New York community. The Buffalo Free-Net is a volunteer staffed and administered operation funded by community groups, corporate and individual donations.

Official website of the Western New York Library Assistants group who with WNYLRC plan professional development opportunities and networking activities specifically geared to the support staff of libraries and library systems in Western New York.
www.wnylibraries.org Western New York Libraries Virtual Union Catalog (WNYLibraries.org) Offical website of the Western New York Virtual Union Catalog of WNYLRC member libraries and library systems. Using a federated search tool developed by Fretwell Downing, WNYLibraries.org targets over 22 member libraries and library systems’ online catalogs providing access to their holdings in real time using the Z39.50 protocol.
www.wnylegacy.org WNY Legacy Official website of digitized assets and collections from libraries and repositories in Western New York. Using CONTENTdm as the digital asset management system, WNYLRC provides access to digitized content free of charge to the public.
www.wnylibraries.org/vdx Western New York Libraries Regional ILL System (WNYLibraries.org Express or VDX) Official website access to the regional Interlibrary Loan system. Using ZPortal as a backdrop, Fretwell Downing developed a software that searches WNYLRC’s virtual union catalog to allow participating libraries to make electronic ILL requests using a software called VDX.
